Your chance to learn felting and dyeing with plants while using modern methods

Felting

People started felting centuries ago, but it has been gaining new popularity in recent years. Items made from merino wool are natural, they help to keep the wearer warm when the weather is cold and cool when the weather is hot, this fabric is also great because it does not make you sweat.

The workshops are suitable for both beginners and more experienced crafters and they are great for learning different techniques, such as wet felting, needle felting and nuno felting. We only use natural merino or sheep wool and natural fibres. You can use and develop your creativity in a stress-free and supportive environment.

Prior experience is not necessary. All of the materials and tools will be provided. In the end of the course you will have a lovely item you have made with your own hands, that you can keep for your own joy or give as a present to a loved one.

Plant printing

You can choose from our different workshops where you can learn dyeing with plants or eco-printing. For example, you can dye a blouse or a scarf or even make a special birthday card.

Dyeing with plants is unique because plants can create different surprising patterns and exciting colour palettes. When using different natural materials and processing methods, one can experiment and achieve interesting and unique results. Another exiting method is using plants to print on paper – the results look like an artist has painted on paper with watercolours. Plants can be used for dyeing both fresh and dried, the latter makes it possible to have cosy wintery workshops as well.
